Jane Njenga got her scholarship in 2002. She attended Kamathatha Primary School and having scored 383 marks out of 500 in her Kenya Certificate Primary Education joined Nyandarua High School, passing out in 2005 with a B-. She was then admitted to the Cicely McDonnell School of Nursing at Nairobi Hospital from which she qualified as a midwife as the top student.
