We are currently supporting 2 scholars in further education who are studying medicine and pharmacy. A further 7 scholars join further education in 2024.
The Woodard Secondary School in Langalanga was funded by the Woodard Corporation and other donors and is a wonderful facility bringing education and opportunities to a particularly deprived part of the Kenyan Rift Valley.
The Association of women scholars is formed with the purpose of providing a network to support themselves, their families and their local communities to address some of the challenges of women inequality found in many Kenyan rural areas.

Mary Waithera Kuria went to Simba Primary School and received her scholarship to Jomo Kenyatta Girls High School in 2009. She secured a degree at the Technical University of Kenya in the Built Environment, which was then converted to a degree to Architecture. Read more
Daniel Mwaura went to Kamande Primary School east of Gilgil and got a scholarship in 2012 to go to Nyandurua High School. He was accepted to study Project Planning and Management at Karatina University. He is the chairman of the Langalanga Scholars Association. Read more
