We are privileged to have the Earl Carnarvon as our Patron. Many will know that his family seat is Highclere Castle, which is better known as the setting for the UK television series of 'Downton Abbey'.

Whilst he has many pressures on his time he is a source of enormous support and encouragement. He contributes to the charity's governance, regularly attends Trustee meetings and provides valued advice on our policies and approach.

This is what he has to say about the Langalanga Trust:

"Parents know well that a good education is the finest gift that they can give their children but, of course for most in Africa, this is but a dream. For a lucky few in the Gilgil area of the Kenya's Rift Valley it is a reality thanks to the work of the Fund."
